This here is the original pamphlet of Common Sense by Thomas Paine. Common Sense was published on January 10th, 1776. The affects of this book or pamphlet really incited the 13 colonies of America into rebelling the British rule in the summer of 1776. The book described the advantages of being independent from Britain. Copies of Thomas Paine's Common Sense were sold everywhere in the Americas as all 13 colonies read the writings of Thomas Paine. It's quite ironic that Paine wrote Common Sense because Paine was born in England had no connection to America. Paine's writings of Common Sense Come from a perspective of being English but fighting against England. It's very unique because Paine saw both sides of the coin and Common Sense really embodies what he believes in. Evidently the America people were just as passionate as Paine was to the notion of a free society that they rebelled against England in the summer of 1776. This book written by Paine really was a document that gave the American people confidence to defeat Britain and sustain freedom.
